James Beatty
Data Analyst transitioning into engineering. I love building practical tools that help people get things done, and I'm passionate about using AI to solve everyday problems—from recipe development to workflow automation.
About Me
I'm a data analyst looking to transition into software or data engineering. My background is in analytics, but I'm passionate about building tools that make people's lives easier. I believe the best solutions come from understanding real problems and creating practical, user-friendly tools to solve them.
Currently, I'm teaching myself development through hands-on projects that combine my analytical mindset with new technical skills. I'm particularly interested in automation, AI integration, and creating workflows that eliminate tedious manual work.
Outside of work, I'm an avid baker who uses AI to develop and refine recipes. This hobby has become a testing ground for exploring how AI can enhance creative processes—from generating new flavor combinations to optimizing baking techniques. It's also what inspired my recipe management tools.
